like many more i did sat for hours next to the web help and learn by my self its great and rewarding, however i feel like i have allot of basics i need and wont get by myself.
help from an experienced person is different.

Hi Idka,
I ve been teaching computer music production together with another music producer at a real pro studio in Rio de Janeiro. We teach the audio basics, effects, main softwares, mixing and remixing, mastering and everything needed to someone to develop a real general view on music production. If you have interest, let me know. We can plan a workshop for you, including lessons, air tickets and place to stay at.
I know you might live far away, but this add will also be helpful to others reading your post. For details email me with any questions. Thanks. |

Idka you should contact Chandan (Wavelogix) an indian producer on this forum..He offered online lessons in the past don't know if he's still doing it..
If you want to read up a bit you should check out Cubase SX 3 Ignite, it helped me get my head around Cubase quite a lot..

You can learn Cubase by yourself easily. All you need is the program itself, curiosity and the manual. There's much to learn and don't expect it to sink in overnight. It's not the easiest program to start with.
For trance production techniques, read this forum, www.psy-forum.co.uk and www.tranceaddict.com
and of course practise, practise and practise.
Finally, the net is full of compression, EQing and such tutorials.
