Te_nTe I am not gonna lie to you-I am using WAREZ!!!But I will eventualy buy the stuff I use...I am just asking to save money (FL Studio is $200-$300).I am pretty sure that many people here are using warez just because they can't afford it (yet).I know it is WRONG but I don't gonna spend $700 unless I know I can and will produce good music!!!

It think it's all about what you're used 2...
I started of with cubase some 7 years ago...
I switched 2 logic 2 yrs later, because of the AUDIO...it took me quite a while 2 get used 2 , because everything seemed 2 work different then in cubase...it really stopped my creative flow...but once I'd mastered it..there's NO way back...
Everything in the Logic environment is custom-made for me...
Allmost everything is on "keycommands"...
what makes all handlings go so smooth ,that
I'm getting the results I want in a "Jiffy"...
I would never change 2 another program...
LOGIC till I DIE !!!

i'm a big cubase fan. sx, nuendo, sx2, pick your poison. that with rewired reason for percussion

i don't know, i am sure logic is awesome and have played with protools, but its all about feel. making beats in cubase just works better for me           www.organicparadox.com

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

I've been using Cubase since v1.0 on the PC (1992?) and it's safe to say I'm... fairly quick on it by now. I was dreading the transition to SX but when I took the plunge I was really glad I did; I treated it as a different program and well whaddya know; things just WORKED the way I wanted them to first time.

I love VST but SX is even quicker... and will continue to improve as I add more and more keycommands and macros. SX2 is an improvement over SX1 and adds a lot of really useful features from VST. Anyone tells you SX2 is a crock, don't believe them. Sure, there's still some bugs and problems, although nothing fatal. 99 times out of 100, serious problems with SX are due to a bad system setup; take a look at cubase.net for proof (or my sweet-running system! )

applause to colin.....

cubase sx is as user friendly as you need it to be, but as dynamic and modular as most of us want it to be. it was pulling teeth getting my friend to switch from v5, but once you just treat it as a different program, it all makes sense

colin, i actually met you a few years back in japan, through sancar believe it or not (outdoor party). small world           www.organicparadox.com

Well peoples i wanted to say- i post this question about month ago.

since then i got used to sx1 and i feeling good with it at the moment.

like colin and organic said- if you treat it as a different program- then it's much easier to get used to.

the difference between cubase 5 VST to SX is like night and morning and when you looking for the
common functions- it's not working so good

anyway i'm happy with it today and i'm still arranging the ideal environment- macros, shortcuts and such.

thank you all           Space is the place

Mee too!!., Me too!!.,
logic is the way

Bestest sequencer ever.,
Environement is briliant (you can make drum machines from modules and wires !!
Plugs are cool.
Has a good sample editor built in (something cubase was lacking for years, dunno sx/sx2)
Good quality mixer
Very well streamlined for production
lots and lots and lots of stuff to bind to keys so you can make your own 'keyboard control center'
... and i love the option to record midi even when the sequencer was not recording.,

4 me logic rules all the way to heaven..,
Now i only need logic 6 with plug freezing

grts.,
aka!, .,

especially when it's not true.
