AWESOME RESULTS.

so the myspace equation for me now is -

Sonnox limiter - enhance all the way up, output all the way up. Main mix up on cubase high but not clipping. export 196kb mp3 file.

in myspace it's nice and loud, although there is some distortion from myspace mp3 encoding, so maybe there is some more messing around with this to do.

I never care about tracks loudness and quality on myspace. I just convert my mastered tracks to mp3 and upload as it is. Default rules! =)           http://soundcloud.com/aedem

The end user will control the loudness of playback but if you help the mp3 encoder add distortion then that's there for good. The end user can't do anything about that apart from turn it off.

basically before, the song was too low in volume to jam out too on laptop speakers generally, so when I'd show people it would sound weak.

I think it's important. I can't get into a groove unless it's at least a bit loud.           www.musicproductionnatural.com || www.facebook.com/djamoeba | facebook page

Off topic (Sort-of)

Did you guys notice that Myspace changed the single spectrum analyzer to a double mirrored spectrum??

Is it just to get the bass (where the most activity is) to the center?           https://soundcloud.com/avivtech

i dont agree

the end user will control the VOLUME of the playback but not its LOUDNESS. if you dont know the diffrence then you dont but there is and its about limiters and compression that help for great result.

its the one thing that i feel you are constantly missleading people. they can try 20 years to get the 'best' sound but without heavy mastering it will never get close. use only eq for master wont do it even not half of it.
should i just remind you how domestic album sweep the best trance album sound easy , or freq in prog , and they both go crazy rms.

you do know the end user also have eq on his system so why to bother do that too right ?           www.sattelbattle.com
