Hello friends,
some time ago i wrote a flash app which calculates the frequencies for a free selectable tuning. eg root: 440
There is also a Hz <-> bpm calculator
http://www.ansolas.de/goodies/
But keep im mind its only a help no dogma
Have fun!

There are no stupid questions and there are many uses.
One, for example, is to calculate the frequencies of the keys even with non-standard 440 Hz tuning.
That values can be used to create, for example, a tuned Kick. (see Kick tutorials...)
Any many many more

hi all ,
nice page ansolas !
Not in order to hijack this I also want to add a link to another nice application for people who are interested into this. Its a little bit more complex, but specially for you ansolas, its sure gonna be interesting (unless you allready know it ).
http://www.xs4all.nl/~huygensf/scala
Also it provides some "preset" macro commands which create the more usual tunings.
have fun "programming" your sound
