Well, I guess this deff. is the territory of The Legendary Pink Dots. would specially recommend the song "Femme Mirage" from the album "Asylum" for that purpose, even so it`s more focused on the peak part of the apocalypse, while all the bad things are happening outside, but u sit in your room and look outside on it.

Have fun with the CDs. I love this band, because they are really special. It`s great art and they are really good musicians, IMO.
