hey all
i need some tips ...
the basics are great = kick is kicking , bass like talamasca
snare like gms ....
now we have 2 beasts = nord and q ....
i can't understand how 2 take out the sound from it ....
i know how 2 play those synth but i didn't really got 2 the stage
where i can use it in my track ...
any tips ?

a good idea is to just try and get noize out of it...like squeeky noizes or growling rolling sounds... |

Sitting around doing nothing won't help alot - you need the will and the inspiration for it man!
think about a vibe - a palce you want to be at right when making some sound while hearing the bassdrum play...
it'll be good... |

just play around with the knobs and sliders, when you hear something you like, check out if you can improve it.
just enjoy yourself, nothing in the world that's more fun than playing around with a synth. |

Yo.
A simple question WHY????
WHY did you bought nord and q if you dont even know
what are they ???
You need to learn how they work and what every knob
is about, then start to try to create the sounds you need
to the track..
I'm not trying to yell at you k, but i think its stupid
to buy a synth that costs so much if you dont know even what
it does...
hope for you the best though, ...

i think michael is right....
first u ougtha know what a synth is about.
your purpose is 2 create MUSiC & not "noises"
like someone here suggested...
dont try to "torn the knobs" etc. etc.
read the user manual.
use a sequencer to creat a bass line a solo peace or whatever but dont lower your music to a level of un musical peace.
resapect tha music.
if you have it in you, it will come easy.

i draw it like ---- in cubase ----- and then i opened the
knobs .... -----
if not don't botter write me what u think i should do with my

i don't know what is wrong with this:
somebody asks a question (in his own strange way),
somebody tries to answer (in his own strange way).
if you, k, don't like the answers, you don't have to react them. just wait for the person who both got the answer and understood your question.
do you think everybody has patience for questions like this ?
did you try to come to a chef and ask him "nu, c'mon, teach me, maaaan! any tips anything, i wanna be a chef, i have a pan, a wok, knives etc. what do i have to do ?"
it's not that i consider myself a chef, but there are some chefs around here.
you want a "torah al regel ahat" ("Torah in 10 hours")... you either are lazy or not grown enough
[or maybe both] to understand that only by working hard (reading, exercising end experimenting) you will achieve knowledge in life.
this is how the process of learning works. no shortcuts.
if you have talent, it will take less time, but it will take time.
another important thing - don't forget to PLUR.

why won't you try first recording your synths into computer (read on "digital audio recording" in www, and your sound card manual ... btw to read is not enough - you have to understand it too) and use them as sample source - use the samples in your arranger soft ( logic/cubase/cakewalk/tracker/anytthing)
do you want to know how to arrange ?
use demo songs.
see how they are built.
after you know your way this far, read on MIDI more and use your sequencer to control your synths.if you will be good enough till then, you'll sell some tracks to make money on better hardware.
and don't forget to read more and more ( understanding what you read is important here too ) about sound, mastering, EQ, effects, recording.
so now,
close this internet explorer, and open acrobat reader, lazy bum.
i hope you understand - i didn't try to insult you, just you deserve a little shake.
