I thought of making a new music type (atleast i think it will be a new thing),
tell me what you think about it:
I wanted to make trance made of - Jazz, Reggey, and all components of psy trace...

but beware, you can stuck in the middle...
music fans will dislike you cuz its too trancy and the trance fans wont like it cuz it doesnt sound like astrix/skazi/etc...

jazz and psy excelent idea... i have heard it in a non-psy trance years ago when i barely knew psy. i would love to hear a psy saxophone lol
reagge and psy could be a nice idea if made well... i have thinked about that before (because i listen mostly to psy and reagge).
but creating a new style i think it's too much... but having your OWN style as you described... would be fresh water in the scene hehe

BUT:
I need to find somone that can record some sax, and send me for making the music...
If anyone wuld be able to do that for me, i will really thank him, and if ill be famous, he will be a VIP

mate take a minidisc + mic and go out searching for some saxophone players in the streets of your town..ask him to play some notes and record it  _or try to find a music teacher at any school or..and ask him for a girl/boy that plays the instrument you want to record...give him some $ and within minutes youŽll have what you want! good idea hun ? _and if youŽll get famous i want 40% gratuity for this idea and free access for 10ppl wherever youŽll play!! _alrighdaaaa  /cheers |

goa vol 10 first cd got a sax in it
plus trance use alot of brass
plus u have saxlab vst that u can play with so u dont have to know any sax players
and in the end try something new after u have some "old style" tracks
u cant build up ur own style without any expirience

hehe  ... wicked idea,
One thing you should contemplate though (not to sound pessimistic) is the groove... Jazz relies alot on both the scale, and the chord progressions; if you're going to make it and make it psy you'll lose some of that, unless you invent a new kind of bassline (:p)

vlp vst has many sax samples but i gueess thats not your point.
Physical playing cant be replaced,u can go to a concervatorium and record masterclass teachers,i am sure they would love to

There is a lot of very trancy dub already out there which is kind of a fusion of Reggae and Trance... I'll try and find some examples and post names up here. It still doesn't often include live sax though.
The problem with mixing in stuff like jazz is that jazz has swing! This means the trance would need swing... by which time it would probably sound much more like house. Jazz sax over house music is pretty commonplace (e.g. check out Saint Germain)
Also check out Haltya.. he makes some amazing psytrance/funk/jazz type stuff

Hey Tryptic my friend ..
Im totaly not agree with you ! .
I do all .. Tech with operas tuns , Dark with callsical philarmonic tuch , Massive prog with an church charollets , Deep Sound & beat with an africans loops and heavely ambiant vocal voices in .
Evry thing in trance or psy is posible and sound !
We should keep and make and do this new styles (In the trance) .
