How many songs would you suggest one have at a minimum in one's collection before attempting a solid 1hr long mix (psytrance)? what about 2 hrs? Trying to get into the DJ line up of a local festival |

1 hour with 7minute tracks probably 12 approximatly

not enough psytrance out there to play more than 2 hours so I'd just play the same stuff again because no one can tell the difference
all trolling aside, I usually have an extra hour of material set aside for sets just in case something goes weird. ESPECIALLY for outdoor parties and even more especially if they're small local events. You could easily be that guy stuck on the decks for 3-5 hours...but if you're booked in a club where things are a bit more controlled an extra half hour is usually sufficient
