I'm studying hospitality & tourism management so make music whenever i have spare time..However i'm really lucky coz i'll be handed over the family business when i graduate..In the future i'd like to do all kinds of music with commercial bands like Atma is doing..But psytrance will always be my real passion!

work to earn money
create to have/create fun
and if u sell this music.. bless u..
and if u get more then your income over 6 month i think u can afford yourself to quit
offcourse the real qustion is:
can you take care of yourself (rent a place to live.. pay for it..buy food.. pay the doctor if u need.. may be invite chix to date.. buy a plasma screen.. dvd.. or just feed your dog ) and make music along ?
btw - making music also cost alot if u tend to make it as life time profession

I have to work to make my music and pay the bills!!
I live in Brighton UK, if i want my studio with sea views i need to work full time (35 hrs a week)!!!
However i cant complain, i've got a cool job, i work in HI-FI, building valve amplifiers and pre amps in www.audionote.co.uk my boss and manager are super cool and very suportive with my music!!...
There is another option, is quit the job and live with the benefits that the goverment pay if you are unemployed in order to make my music full time!!!
Not a good idea in my girlfriend's mind though...
