I have tried several plugs to make basslines and i get the best now from alien303 and sylenth. They're opposites. Sylenth has a perfectly clean sound but is missing some subbass frequencies so you will maybe have to boost the lows.
Alien303 is very powerful with a very phat sound and incredible bass frequencies but it's maybe a little bit muddy compared to the clean sound of sylenth. You will maybe have to eq some very low frequencies.
