Everyone keeps asking this kind of question, how to get your sound clear in this forum....all the time...

first off you don't need a great studio, all you need is a computer, and the right eqs and knowledge.

where do you get that knowdledge?

Im not sure .

best advice is to make psy parties, book some big artists, invite em back to ur place, and ask him to teach you.

tsabeat,i think he knows u need synths to do it,and i think he also knows that it needs to be a clean mix.

I think he is asking how to mix them right.

But honestly i don't think you'll actually get much help off forums.atleast not for this.           SPLINTER

my 5 cents, play all the sounds in your mix against one another in pairs of 2-4, eq some frequencies out, add a slight bandpass on others and check how they come out in the mix against each other. Make sure everything is audible with all other elements. Use panning to make elements come out better with each other, like on hihats. Remember, in a stereo mix you have 180 degrees to place sounds!

Then there is always "The Mother of Mixing"
in the sticky... !!!!

One of the reasons the kick and bassline sound very clear in minimal mixes, is because there is hardly anything playing in the background. Space helps sounds cut through, because there is simply not a lot to cut through from...besides having good mixing skills and selecting good kick and bass patches, obviously.

What pipe & slippers said + You don't always know how a particular kick/bass will sound on a party system. Even with monitors there still is a big difference. Hence: play live and test your sound.

That's exactly right, plus what Upavas
said.
I don't do psy but I really appreciate and respect the music, what you guys do with the mixes lots of stuff hapenning at the same time is way harder to do, that's why who comes out from psy to any other style makes very good.respect!!!

Someone who is a good producer will be thinking about their mix during the writing of the song so that they know all instruments will be coming through clear even with minimal eq applied.           http://www.youtube.com/user/trawhi (tutorials)
