well, in my new wharfedale's, the sound is crisp clean - maybe the problem is with your sound system?

not likely. i heard it twice - once on speakers, and once on headsets. both times it's low on level, the kick clips and the bassline is gritty. check your eq and also your amp and speakers.

Ok, i've checked it again & again & again... a few times in my monitors, and a few times in me sennheisers, and the sound is clean...
"the Kick Clips"? wtf? no way man! youy system is clicking, not the kick!

It's a problem that happened to me with winamp - when certain people encoded their tracks to mp3s and sent me them it sounded all distorted and clippy. I just played it in the mediaplayer and it sounded good. The volume is pretty low though.
I liked the progression a lot. Way to go man.
