Ok, i get that multi-voice is the amount of sounds that a synth can reproduce at the same time, but what is multi-timber??

A multi-timbral instrument is one that can receive on more than one MIDI channel simultaneously, and can play a different sound on each MIDI channel. It has nothing to do with the number of audio outputs it has though.

Example:
Roland JV 1080 module - multitimbral
Halion & Kontakt - multitimbral
Muon Tau - monotimbral           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

The Steinberg Dcota is a nice multitimbral synth.            Signature

multi-voice is the amount of notes of the same sound you can play at the same time. Multitimbrality shows the number of different sounds that can be used at the same time... Voices can be divided among the timbres (a bass-timbre with 1 voice and a pad timbre with 6 voices for example), timbres can be linked to different midi-channels.
