Hello there, after trying to work out how this works for a while I think i finally came across how to work Multi-Outputs Synths in FL Studio... At least it works with Battery 2 so far...

When you load Battery, it will be housed in the Fruity Wrapper.

At the top left corner of the fruitywrapper it has a powerplug icon.
Next to that it will say Fruity Wrapper (Battery 2).
If you click the powerplug symbol will give you options for browsing parametres (Automation and Controller) and Presets.

Just underneath the Powerplug symbol is a Drop down menu, indicated by an arrow pointing down, next to a folder Icon.
Next to this it will read Battery 2 (Synth) (multi).
Obviously the multi means that the synth is capable of multi-outputs.

Click on the Arrow Menu and it has a whole bunch of interesting options.

Select "Enable Multiple Outputs".

When you assign Battery 2 VST to the mixer, it will then assign the rest of the Battery cells consecutively.

One problem with this is the Key/Note Assign. Where Battery says the note is C1-C1. Fl Studio will say it is C3-C3.

Another Problem is the lack of Mono Mixer channels in FL.

Hope this helps some people like it helped me.

Also you have to name the mixer channels manually.

For something like Edirol Orchestral:

Everything is the same except:

When you load Edirol Orchestral in fruity wrapper you must assign a port number to the Plugin. The port number is the green "LED" Styled box in the top right corner. Assign an appropriate port number.

Now. To use the instruments on Orchestral separately you also need to add "Midi Out" Channels.

Assign your Midi Out channels to the same port as the Plugin.

Each instrument in Orchestral should be assigned default MIDI Channels, 1-16 In order. To check which MIDI Channel each instrument is assigned to, right click on the Up and Down arrows next to the Instrument Description.

It should display: Controller info and Midi Channel Numbers.

In your midi out channel, select the MIDI Channel of the Instrument you wish to use.

Mixer Channels:

Fruity will do the same thing as it did with Battery. Except Orchestral only utilises 4 separate mixer outputs.

To assign mixer outputs, do this in Orchestral by Clicking on the Main Output Button and select between Output 1-4.
