Hi people,

Voluntarily I am writing in support of the Return to the Source psy party this coming weekend in Worcester. Intention conditions modus operandi. So, something energizing me about this party is its strong foundation.

What is Return to the Source? It is a holy and super-hi-NrG core putting me in mind of the Greek "ousia," "divine essence." It is proactively envisioned as truly good, indeed inherently perfect - and perfectly powerful. A dynamo, psy/Goa generates itself, comprising both pure content and outflowing nexus. In returning to this quintessential energy, we get called upon to revivify, cherish, and facilitate it. From that, it becomes a new beacon.

now playing: Kindzadza - As I meditate on the Kindzadza music wending through my consciousness, I ponder how far trance has come. For, the name Return to the Source (RTTS) has the most dignified antecedents. Few yet many remember the RTTS Goa CD, which I used to play in the mid-nineties. RTTS was the name of my first London psy party, in 1996: a psy/Goa monthly at the Fridge in Brixton. And as far as I remember Synthetic Sadhus put on a party by that name. That was in NYC around 2000. The name now rises to grace us with its good energy - a spiritual trance classic.

Commenting thus on longevity, I also want to take this opportunity to mention my diversity of opinion about scene politics. To my mind, in the name of being fair and honest, people will do well to learn and act on basic truths about their real characters and natures, including their dirty laundry. This is in order to keep things suitably curried. For life is not always a bed of roses. ...Unfortunately, in the wrong hands such power can go awry and might indeed tamp the "spark" previously unaffected by these very "politics." Get out the vote!

Be that as it may I am amused and pleased to turn around and find that there has now become an "old-skool trance." Inevitably it reminds me of the enshrining of Goa itself. Tranceheads: this is a giant district devoted entirely to psy. Imho it deserves one or more visits. With a strong dollar the plane ticket remains expensive, yet, once there, the living costs may stay low.

One of my favorite lectures is about participation. Why are we here? What is our purpose? I take pride in the meaningful way I spend my time. When the sweat on one's brow becomes a thing of beauty, it is natural to invite one's friends.

A confluence of intention and outcome are producing a new Return to the Source. Are you in?

Omission correction: upon consulting my memory I did unearth the big yet exotic 1996 USA hoedown named Return to the Source. This gathering, at the Liberty Science Center, gets heralded as the first big Goa/psy event on the East Coast. The iconic shindig is thus often rated as the galvanic beginning of East Coast or NY trance, although Acid Phisixs was already doing the smaller goa parties at that time. Still, as far as there being a nice big party, someone had to go first. Indeed afaik it was RTTS. Well do I remember the enticing bleepings of the major league psytrance DJs such as Mark Allen. I was just out of London. The stuff was nascent, pure, and holy. As I sit here listening to Kasatka's radio set (dated 5/25/13) I marvel at the deeds of time .. Keep the Vibe Alive
