mp3tunes.com is selling downloads from independent artists and labels only.
Founder Michael Robertson was the founder of mp3.com back in the days.
Now he teamed up with CDBaby and delivered a download portal with the slogan:
"Don't rent your music...own it!"
This means, if your harddrive crashes and you lost all your music, all the music you bought with mp3tunes.com will be replaced, without any costs on your side....cool? I think so......
Teleport and Entheogenic are already available there.

Thats nice concept for sure.
And I like the terms they give to artists:
" High rev-share to artists, with artists keeping almost $6 of every CD sold and almost $.60 for each song. Even the superstar artists don't command that kind of royalty!"

Yep, $0.60 out of $0.88 per track.
Very nice to see somethings like this happening.

making .wav files avalable at a slightly higher price would be nice. mp3 is no way to collect music

For a regular listener 192 kbps mp3 is fine but i agree that an option for wav or flac (as resonant earth, which i love) should be there...

In my opinion each downloadportal which focus in independent music deserves to get support.
Maybe you should write to Mr. Robertson your thoughts regarding format etc., I think he is definitely interested in feedback like this.

You can check out beatport.com, this portal is made for DJs, you can choose between mp3, mp4 and for 0,50 cent extra .wav files.......

and @traveller:
what price do you think is cool for a track when 0,88 cent seems to be too much for you?

Wouldn't pay a penny for mp3 or wma. 50 cents a wav would imo be a good price of which 40 cents should go to the artist. And I'm talking € cents..
