Hello,
I have heard people say that tracks played in clubs which are mp3s sound too bad.. i think to compressed or loss of freq.
i am thinking of downloading tracks from the web .. would geting the track into wavelab and converting it to wav. format help in the quality in any way(for club quality not house listening)????

1. Depends what mp3. If you encode them at 192 kbps and above with a good encoder (LAME) it will sound ok.
2. Converting mp3 to wav will not help with the quality at all. Quality will stay the same. Best to get it on original cd's/vynils for best quality.

yes converting mp3 to wave wont get you anything but much more space taken.
you need the originals.
anyway wtf is this idea anyway ?
downloading from the net and playing it on a club !
are you a certified criminal ?
not just downloading for self use (which is not legal too) but also making money on the back of the artists ?
this idea makes me sick !

it was only an idea and does not mean that I am going to do it.. so get off your high horse you hypocrite..there is a spanish saying that says dont spit into the sky as it wil fall onto your face. more or les translated
As far as making money out of ripping artists I am not thinking in terms of that... I am not one of those superstar djs commanding large fees for shiity sets... And the reason why I'm on this section is because i hope to one day be an artist my self. Full RESPECT to the artists..
Its just that sometimes desperate times require desperate, last resort mesures..
