I know somebody already asked this question, but i couldn't find the thread so i decided to ask it here:
I wanna encode/decode files from Mp3 to WAV and vice versa, how do i do that???
I had this program i downloaded from the net that did it , but my computer went dead a few days ago and my hard drive was deleted :/ very sad thing...
I also heard you can do it with winamp, but i couldn't do it, don't know why.
plz help!!! |

get yourself Easy CD-DA Extractor 4.3 - http://www.poikosoft.com/cdda
it does everything from ripping to mp3/wav/vqf file converting.
for wav to mp3 use the L.A.M.E codec, 192Kbit, HQ and Stereo mode. (not joint stereo. 8))
you can also convert mp3 back to wav there but winamp does a great job as well.

btw- can you tell me how you do it in winamp? (i just have to understand why i can't do it!)
btw2-Jason-i know converting to wav takes much space but i also wanna burn these tracks to a cd. (is converting to wav the only way to do it?)

Nero is today the most advanced burning software available.
it has some features you wont even believe!
including many effects on each track such as E.Q
and normalize and much more!
you can even set the pause between each track (if any) or divide one big MP3 file to different Disk Tracks at your marks. (for those of you who download full CDs from the net in one MP3)
But, and its not a down side But, the software supports virtually every burning method existing as of today plus its many features wich makes it a bit confusing to work with for those without experience.
It is developed by AHEAD SOFTWARE and marketed by TEAC.
Try downloading a demo or shareware from the web
and then find a crackpatch for it in

Well, I got the full version with my Teac CD-RW
on CD with updates capability.
So far the installations files seems to be 32MB Without Compression and without the pdf manuals,
Although it says on the package that the minimum disk space is 12MB.
I'll try to zip it and see what is unnecessary so it would be a minimum zip file, or i could simply burn you a copy! :)

You can also download it from the web, just search for it in any search engine (it's a matter of minutes).
if you can't find it mail me and i'll tell you where i downloaded it or mail it to you myself.
