aloah @ll...

anyone knows of a tool which autodetects the volume of different mp3s and put them all on the same level ?
-doesn t matter if it s a burn-tool ( but i like to burn mp3s and not mp3 to cda ) or a standalone converter.

In i-tunes there's an option to make all tracks play at same volume...dunno if it also burns that way...

cool edit pro (an older version) had a batch convert options....don't know whether u can tweak it for volume levels though (i don't have it know to test it).....maybe you could try it?

ps: the version i'm talking about is around the year 2000. so you should have no problem getting it, if you don't have it already

Try the Batch Process option on Wavelab, you can build your own preset to decode, normalise and re-encode your mp3's

cool edit pro 2000 definitely has a batch convert option to convert from one format to another, but i suddenly wonder if it supports mp3 files at all (seriously)

i too have it somewhere, maybe i'll dig it and let u know...

ok I have a question too , with my mp3 , i convert them to wav before burning , and normalise to 100% using Sound Forge, now would that solve the issue listed above ?
or maby i should do something different ?
