Lets make a sample post that every body
upload some GOOD QUALITY samples that he have.
NOT THAT HAVE IN THE WEBSITS (SHEETY QUALITY)
I always search for some good samples and i never find.
so it will be nice if everybody how have upload some...

get a rca to 8th inch adapter and a vcr record anything you want much better than sites |

greets all
i would like to know how you guys process the movie samples u get, bassically I want to understand how to remove the back-grounds of the films scenes or at least reduce then
how you guys do it ?
by EQ'ing and cutting freqs ? noise reduction plugs ?
I have this sample

Boost some freq. and cut others...most for samples it comes down to a case of using smaples inthe end that are easy to clean up.....
as far as ripping them from dvd's.....thats the easiet way, you can also rip them from other video formats....with soundforge or cooledit....

Wanka Tanka: you might try X-Noise, which comes with the Waves plugin bundle - with this great little plug you can remove background noise quiet well, although i'm not sure it will remove the chopper noise very easy - but give it a try! |

for me movies are a major source of samples.
but i only can extract samples from dvix format, using Audition(cool edit proo)
And how about dvd´s....how do you guy´s do it??

We do it using a soft called "DVD audio ripper" .
Does the job and it's very easy to use 2.

go to your sharing prog and download 16/44 samples (16 bit 44 h) or 24 b if you will be lucky
or buy lab cds |

I just use soundforge and outboard EQing to clean up samples i rip from videos and etc.
