I found this night highly amusing

Location: Move club, Tel Aviv’s old port. Me and a friend decided to go clubbing last night and chose this place. When we arrived, while passing security, the security guy looks at me and goes: “Well, you know that this is a gay night here”. “I’m heterosexual enough not to care about it” I answered. We entered the place and when we got to the cashier the guy there looks at me and goes “Well, you ARE aware that this is a gay night”. “Whatever”, I answered

. We entered the club, which is a nice, small club (up to 400 ppl) with a not-too-fancy design and deco.

People: Duhhhhh. Lots of guys, all forms and shapes, with shirts and without, which body hair and without

. About 10 girls there, at least I am sure that about 7 of them were girls, the rest, well... I wouldn’t bet my life on it

. There were a few guys there with a broken gay-radar, which made my life more amusing. Sorry mates, but waxed, topless guys don’t do it for me

Sound: The place has a nice JBL sound system, which was not set to a too high volume and therefore sounded pretty nice. It did not have the usual club re-vibrating feeling of an over-volumed system I’m used to. Makes me feel there is still hope for clubbing.

Music: I was promised some New-York house and that is mainly what I got. There were a few glitches towards tech-house and club-trance (this is how this thread got a right to be here) but it was house house house all the way

. Some interesting remixes I haven’t heard yet and some refreshing sounds. I have no clue who the DJ was, but it seemed like he was playing all through the night.

all in all, I had a highly amusing night with good music and good people. Somehow I wish that outdoor trance parties were like that, but with more women
