u know i was really hoping this gig would be a real earopener for the indian psytrance community....
In india especially i find that a majority of the ppl who listen to psytrance think that psytrance is the be all end all in psychedelic electronic music...but really....there are so so so many more insanely talented musicians creating such abstract psychedelic electronica which is so musical really and with a real personal view at what is psychedelic..not always really obvious tripped out sounds and arrangements...and alot of them use real cutting edge techniques for playing live...its unfortunate really that this is the furthest contemporary underground electronic music gets india...
I sincerely hope that more acts of this calibre make it down here...and with much bigger promotion...

@hex osirus ... u r damn right... people need to explore many other forms of electronic music... and also, appreciate n respect ALL kinda good music... at the same time make sure psytrance also stays alive n kickin in a healthy way...

wow never seen so much hype about an artist.
These guys must be really great at their act.
Should bring down more of these artists to India divert the clubbers from minimal house to a more mature electronica filled with psychdelia, layers of sampling, wierd unique sounds still maintaining the bpm.... all in all great music.

This is what party orgs & music labels should be doing. Things are happening in Dilli side. Weekly gigs featuring different styles of electronic music & psytrance finds the way too. I am loving it

Didn't know that human beings could control machines to such an extent. Really... makes the entire psytrance genre look like a bunch of morons considering the little that's done and talked about as "live" acts.
and the music!!! the MUSIC!!!! Never have I heard so many layers and effects working is perfect chaotic harmony. If layering=psychedelic this was by far the most psychedelic thing I can imagine. Kindzdazda could make a nice intro into their first track... no one can possibly match them after!
They have 2 more gigs in India... Chennai on the 2nd and B'lore on the 4th. Colombo right after. PLEASE go and check these guys out ... they will change your perspective no matter what genre you listen to!

Quite happy and surprised to see this thread here Thanks for sharing those videos Yidam, brings back some great memories. Got to see ze germans in delhi and mumbai as well. Hands down the delhi gig was my favorite given the open air location and improv jam session with MoM/shaair + func/teddy boy kill. Absolute chaos ensued with people of all ages and walks of life throwing down together. If you were there, you know what i mean  It was truly something special. Too bad i have no pictures or videos to share... But clearly, the fine people of delhi are ready for more leftfield music.. |
