I all peace ppl I bought this motu a 1 month ago and i have some questions any one whit motu interface here? and use the program inside cuemix fx?           thoughts become things

hi mike thanks for you reply do you have the program cue mix fx? the question is how i can apply the e.q and dynamics (limiter and compressor ) of the motu (cuemix fx) in my tracks i use cubase 5 .

thanks vipal for your reply. i have already read the manual but i cant find my question, i know how to apply the e.qs and dynamics but I wanna know how I can export the full track whit my e.qs and dynam parameters to a new track i´m going read again the manual but if any of you already know how to do it and can say to me would be eternally grateful Cheers !           thoughts become things

oh, I got the old one without the fx. Can't help you.

Should be available as a vst I guess, no?

no its not a vst but i think u can uptade to be able to work whit cuemix its mega powerful try the motu site -- dowloads . cheers !           thoughts become things

No, the fx are onboard dsp fx. First UltraLite doesn't have it.

hello ! i have one as well.. and i do
think there is a way you can route the main-
out back to a stereo in (with quemixFX) .. not sure how though ..

so.. either find out how to do that or...

physically use two jacks to plug from one of the many outputs
back into one of the many inputs. then properly record that ?

I think in your scenario you would need 2 pcs, 2 interfaces with enough outputs and inputs if you wanna do multitrack record or you could put a mixer in between them.

You would send the audio out from 1 interface to the inputs of your motu, add your eqs, compressions, verbs etc and record onto cubase like a tape recorder


Your could also send the track output to something other then the Main output and return it back via the inputs on the ultralite and monitor it into cubase and record =) i havnt done this but it should work=)
