Hi guys,
Just recently my Motu 8Pre performance has considerably decreassed for some reason.
My daw has a quad core cpu at 3Ghz with 12Mb Cache and 1333Mhz, It has 4Gb ddr3 of Ram and it is running under windows 7 64bit.
The motu has the most recent drivers for my os and I am using the legacy drivers for the firewire.
It was working fine and all of the suddent the motu performance decreassead.
Anyone has an idea of what it might be?
Thanks in advance.

Oh I forgot to mention that I have tryed changing the buffer size from 512 to 8000 and nothing changed... I also thought it could be my digital I\O but they are deactivated.
Im realy pissed off cos Im in the middle of a new album that cant be finished until I get a solution for this problem.
Please help... |

Thank you Yggdrasil
I will try that driver eventually.
Although I found the problem...
My CPU Fan was misplaced and therefor it wasn't letting my CPU work properly, that was why my ASIO performance was very bad. |

That's a great link Yggdrasil!
I have had lots of problems with my 896hd.
The 2 latest motu drivers have reduced it but not depleted it. And yes I have the Texas Instruments FW card ofc
I'll try this.
