Motu 828 mkii vs Cubase SX 1.0 PLUS:MAC question..

Hi ppl, anyone working with this???
I have some questions about it:
1)How can I change Cubase sample rate settings??? Cause i think default is 44.1 khz, but I can´t change to 48 khz. Well, if I change on Motu panel it changes. But when I start Cubase, Motu come back to 44.1 khz...
2)Other thing about Audio Output. On Motu manual it says that u can choose any analog input as output for audio channel, but u need to choose Motu Asio Driver first. Well I did it(even before reading manual), but there´s no audio outputs!!!! Only Bus1, left/right. And I turned on all vst inputs...
3)Now about recording a hard synth. Well, I think that if I can´t choose audio outputs, I can´t record too, right???
Just one thing that can make difference. I´m running cracked Cubase SX for Mac. And I´m running MAC OS 10. Don´t know if Cubase and Motu runs properly on OS 10.
Now the MAC question. I´d like to change the OS. I got the original Instalation CD OS 9 from a similar Mac(a G3 iBook). Well, I started the laptop pressing C to start from the cd. But when I try to open the Installer theres a msg: "U can´t run this program on this computer. See the documentation for details". On Manual I didn´t find anything like this...

1).. i think, if u need to tranform a sample rate in a 4.800 or/and bak to 44100
well, se in
Audio > Infos > Sample Rate..
i never use the cubase serious.. but.. in 4.5v.. i was make song i 4800 and i was using this step..
and the Macox question..
i think about, u need to make a new cd copy .. but something have a crack..
bcs.. the macox 10 .. is bad for crack..
in 9 .. is more easy hehe.. but.. is hard too ..
make a new cd..
with the "AUTORUN.ini"
i was making thi with Atmosphere..
sorry all duded.. but in brazil.. the dollars quote.. is very xpansive..
i need to more work .. to buy the original packs.. and original vst..

Thanks monno. Yes, it´s a new Mac. But I´ve already give up using this for music making. I´d rather using my friendly pc!
