Hey everyone!
I just wanted to share smthg funny.
I am graduating this year and as a senior i get a page about me.
We all get a "most likely".
Like, Most Likely to succeed or to get married soon or whatever.
Mine is "Most likely to make trance a religion".
Yeah i guess that shows how i am pictured at my school hehe.
BOOM!
Oh and my friend who's also a trance addict's most likely is "Most Likely to support Fish (me)".
AWESOME

if you really mean trance as religion?
yes maybe,it is a global culture that contains every different religion
we dance like a pray, the dj priest plays hymns to god of trance around the sacred deco-temple,blessing with sounds,
while we gathering our union with the cosmic spirit.
ritual party
just for a joke!

I condering regelions often not as a good thing... religion is used and abused for many wars and crimes against human society + also in small life...
It's saying 'you are' and 'we are'...
there are enough subcatergories in the human race what brings up all the racism troubles,
Imho we don't need another one...
still like you idea |

Religion as in something we believe in or just feel it.
Music yeah could be religion
Quote:
|
The most dramatic auditory visions occur with music. Just as any
object radiates a pattern of electrons and can become the essense of
all energy, so can any note of music be sensed as naked energy
trembling in space, timeless. The movement of notes, like the
shuttling of oscillograph beams. Each capturing all energy, the
electric core of the universe. Nothing existing except the needle-
clear resonance on the tympanic membrane. Unforgettable revelations
about the nature of reality occur at these moments.
"He," "me," "I" are dissolving! The world around us just sits, static and dead, quietly awaiting for us to manipulate it
We hear, not "music" or
"meaningful" sound, but acoustic waves.

we have felt this together

Definatley it's no joke but it's plain reality! Trance is a religion it is something we love and it's happiness is god's love through the music through our souls! Of course i am talking about good spiritual music that maybe few of us experience! But yeah man it definatley is my religion!

So,
I hope I understood the question well.
I also think of this very often.
What can make trance a religion is the fact that many people in the trance scene have decided that whatever religion you follow their is only one God at the end of the day so we decide to get all the best things from all religions and made our own.
Many of us like many religions Christianity,Buddhism,Islam,Hinduism etc...This way we all respect other religions and not believe that our religion is the only good one,the best etc...
I think that a good slogan for the trance religion would be:
What goes around comes around and I believe that many trancers follow this.
We find spiritaulity in music, nature, people, art and many other things and not just in churches, temples and mosques.
I also beleive that bthis new religion was automatically founded in India and Buddhism & Hinduism helped a lot in this!
T.I.P
Trance in peace.
