Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom.
released 3 albums @ G.T.N. and in many compilations.
i realy wonder where they`ll find a home now...

The original name of this project i Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom, and yes they are from Germany.
So far they have released 3 albums:
Bug (1999)
Meter (2001)
Drive (2002)
They also have a sideproject called Nerve, who released a smashing CDS this summer called No Foco with tracks like "No Foco", "Channel 269" (2002 version of "Channel 59") and Etnicas massive remix of "Nervous".

they also have the project Hinz&Kunz with releases on Manta Records and Jum Jam , and the forthcoming album on ZMA records ,
btw : the translation for Mittelstandskinder ohne strom is Middleclasskids without powersupply ( voltage) strange name anyway , just to let you know ... |

Meter & Drive are two excelent albums that are on my collection, I would like to know ifs theres something to comming (new release) coz i like that music.

there's a new comp on ZMA - Sessions vol. 2 which is compiled by Oli (half of MOS) coming out very soon.
it's kind of a taster for his debut album of Hinz & Kunz, his solo side-project.

MOS is one of my favorite artists.
Drive was an exce;ent c.d, and also NO Foco.
I liked Meter a bit less.
And yes, I can't wait to hear the new c.d on ZMA. Should be a blast.

hi everyone,
just to avoid misunderstandings:
hinz+kunz has nothing to do with mos.
it´s a project of oli with another guy called mischa. it´s produced in another studio.
mos is christian bruckhaus and andreas mueller (ndm).
oli is not too much envolved in the production of mos tracks. he never was. and
we´ve just known each other for a long while and we are friends. oli knows how to tweak synths and could play liveacts with us. and he´s a good dj. |
