Humm well morrocos does have very nice hash............But it does get very cold in the night and if you like the desert and rocks and mint tea its Ok.. there are lots of Amazing things to see that you could never of imagined ,snake charmers all kinds of wiered stuff defenetly an experiance ...........
BUT........
Tailand is a bit more easy going has very nice weed , mushrooms shakes and much much more in the trance scean, the Beaches are some of the Best Blue waters ive been to and lots of colorfull fish, talking of fish just throw a line in the water and within 5 mins you have a fish .takes all the challange out of it but good to eat... althow the rubbish can be a bit of an eyesore.....
To travel is so easy and if your a dj and take your Music there are plenty of bars and places you can play your music the first night i arived to Koh pangan (were everyone smiles )i met some of the locals and we were Driven off to play in a Jungle Party it was Cool .....Lots of Magic im actualy planing to return in december ... Krabi new year.. Maybe see you there ??
Ps I DONT recomend to go to the island koh Samui the energy is crap .
Have a good trip....
You have not gone far away, they have gone far away and they have been going on and on for millions of years. The distance between the real man and the man that exists in the world has become almost unbridgeable. They are so far away from their own realit |

For this year, looks like Thailand the place for me. Thanks a lot guys!! I really appreciate your help.
A couple more things if you guys don't mind...
Whats the living expenses like?
I'm coming from London and was wondering if about £200-£250 is enough for about 2weeks for accomodation, food, Parties etc.
I'm not looking for anything expensive.
Once again, Thank you all for your help!
BoomBoom.....

In Thailand most things are very cheap ... u can get a whole dinner for one Person includet Drinks (enought for 2 ppls) ... for like 2 - 3 pounds ...
And accomondations : if u go to Krabi to the NYE Party ... there are bungalows to rent Don't know the prices but i think not so expensiv ...
For a cheap Bungalow u pai for one night fro 3 - 10 Punds ...
And if u go to Bankok check the kosanroad ...
cheeeeeeeeep clothes ...Shirts for like 2 -3 Pounds ... and not bad quality some shirts i get sience 5 Years
Hope to c u in Krabi
hugs
Simon
P.S. : i think Greenspirit gonna be a great Party ... specialy when lots off ppls rent a bungalow and stay for a bit longer ...so we will have a little Freakcommunity there for some weeks
I've been in Thailand allready 2 times ..one time i was sailling with my Father for like 5 Weeks arround Thailand ...was amazing ...some Paradise Island with nobody on it ...i felt sometimes like robinson Cruso hahahaha
once i've been to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan ... more Touristic Places ... but also realy nice ones ...specialy to have Party and Fun with ppls arround the Globe ...

It's a bit druggy - but you don't know what you're talking about if you compare Moroccan hash to cream - cream is in a different league.

@ BoOmNaMaHaShIvAy : so different countries... Jungle and tropical islands vs. snowy mountains and desert vastness.
Mueslim culture vs. bouddist and so on...
@ Thujon : Maybe you're talking about Sphere festival (also last NYE in Morocco)... Desert.camp was a free festival with a you-have-what-you-bring concept (including the sound system and the Cd player so at the end there weren't that much left !) and as many sq-km you wanted to pitch your tent...
Next winter, it won't be free so I guest it's gonna be a bit diferent....
The last 2 years we had nice small parties on a beach near Essaouira beggining of juanuary.
Anyway, I could choose where to go next NYE I might decide for Mexico or Universo Parallelo in Brazil...
And go to Morocco next august. Something big is on it's way !
PS @ kaz : maybe you don't know Moroccan hash that well... ;-)

I was the last year in the Desert Camp and also was small, maybe 200-300 people. The music had variety, but the drinks were very expensive: a bottle of wine-> 6 euros! in Spain I get it for 1 euro >:-(
and get good hashis is not easy, in the streets there are hundreds of moroccans trying to sell you shit or trying to marry with your girls |
