Hi, I'm fairly new to spinning, but have been addicted to psychedelic trance for about 3 years... This is one of my first set recordings. I'm really interested in improving, so any and all comments or advice are welcomed!

It's ok, and definitely not bad for a first try. There are double beats in most of the mixes, but it's not catastrophic in any way - you also to work on improving your work on the EQ, as some of the mixes are bit too sudden, and you also lose some energy when you kill the previous track.
The tracklist isn't completely my taste, and the flow also seems a bit weird (Psyboriginal and Zion would fit better after the more typical full on tracks in my opinion) - but again not catastrophic in any way.
For a first try it's quite good, keep it up

Thanks guys, those were the sort of comments I was looking for. About the tracklist, I guess it is a little strange...and Ocelot in the same set as Orion....
I'll work on the other things. I'm motivated to make a better one next time!  |
