Hi peeps,

I'm trying to find a way to be able to use Sounddiver with my Virus C and at the same time play the synth from the MIDI channel in Cubase 4. Is there any program that could make this possible? I know it's not normally possible anyway. Any insight would be appreciated.

Cheers,

I never owned one but the virus C has 16 parts so its possible, and in the manual it states:
the PART numbers are identical to the MIDI channels of the PARTs. Now when you work in MULTI SINGLE mode, the VIRUS responds as if it were in SINGLE mode, except that you have 16 sounds available simultaneously on 16 MIDI
channels. Use the PART buttons to select these sounds.

No, but thank you. The issue comes from the fact that SoundDiver is already using the midi ports connected to the Virus. This doesn't allow me to use the MIDI ports in Cubase as well. What I'm looking for is a work around to that situation.

Umm, nevermind. I just hooked it up to my Novation Remote SL Zero and apparently it supports multiple clients...go figure

Carry on.           ~Airyck~

you can either switch the midi to parallel or slave one device to the next., for daisychaining go into midi through and then midi out.           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:
