well ive just got around to trying the new fruity 3 demo and have some (hopefully) really basic questions 4 ya.

1. In the piano roll, how do i fine tune the note length?
for example, in the matrix editor in Logic, i just hold down 'Alt' while im sliding the length of the note. is there a fruity equivalent of this?

2. On the normal arrange page, how can i open the graph editor on a channel that has a piano roll on it?
every time i go to open the graph editor, it just jumps to the next channel, but id like to control the pan, cut off etc. through the graph, not automation.

and finally, is it possible to use the WASP synth in logic as a stand-alone, without having fruity open?

thanx heaps!

1. go to the snap mode and change it from auto to 1/4 or 1/2 foir percise tuneing, or tick for free hand tuning.
2. normal arrange page? hmm
well. i don't know what you mean, but if you want to edit your piano roll do these steps: right click>edit>send to piano roll.
if you already did that and wish to re-edit it, hit F6 to get your sequencer, choose the proper pattern to edit and click on the window which looks like a small version of the piano roll.

WASP, afaik, is only available on fruity as a demo. you can try coppying the DLL, but i wouldnt reccomend it....

excellent jason! thank you!
no. 1 is exactly what i was looking for

ok, by 'arrange page' i mean just the normal sequencer window,- the first screen that comes up.
but what i want to do is, on a sampler channel, which has a piano roll on it, how do i access the 'graph editor'? (that button next to the little keyboard icon)
id like to edit the pan, cut-off resonance etc. of each note, but the graph editor seems not to open on a channel that has a piano roll....

hello reece

u should ask paul (synasthetic) bout' fruityloops, he has the program pretty sussed (he uses it as his main sequencer/arranger.

Why don't u want to use the automation on the matrix page & just sequence notes on the matrix (and forget about the old step sequencer buttons)
