I have the feeling that the psy scene needs and deserves more quality releases in order to satisfy its audience and to attract more people to its sounds. What happened to Power Source?
Where is Xerox and tracks like science is god?
Still waiting for new releases from Emuna and Domestic.
WHERE IS PASSENGER?
I check the charts and i see all unreleased stuff and most of them never come to the public, why is that happening?
We need more music!!!!!More and better music.

Why do you need new music? Go back in time and buy some old cd´s and find some realy good music...Thats what i do when i need something " new" and theres nothing new........

PEACE!

Exactly! I'm sure you didn't hear a lot from the old trance. Look for an old album or compilation with tracks or artists you don't know. That will satisfy you.

All the old cd's? Then I'm sure there are a lot of good track you forgot they even exist. Give them another listen.

We've talked about this for so many times now... my opinion is:

1. give the new trance a chance, there are many releases in the other trance styles.

2. there will b no more "old" trance releases... that's why it's called old...

This is a problem which i have also thought. That's why i listen very much to old tracks and albums such as Astral Projection-Power Gen, Crop Circles-Lunar Civilization and so on. The music is of course develloping and changing but we do want more releases. The old tracks where really "anthems" but it is time for something new to come and really excite us. We can't always listen to tracks from 1992-1998 we have to move on! But now...i am gonna listen to Crop Circles-Pentagone and add some Infected Mushroom next. Keep on trancin'

Lots of people (myself included) miss old school trance, but the way the music is developing, it's not coming back anytime soon...

Just learn to enjoy what you've got, and if you want to hear rich multilayered music, listen to Ozric Tentacles (psychedelia at it's very best).

Of course, you'll get your occasional track with the same great old goa vibe, but probably not in the classic goastyle way.

Trance is different now, just accept it :(

For some reason I have that feeling that even if some1 one created an old-school track and even a really good one the crowd would say that it's a lame fake and there is still no vibe and you know why?

Because there will never be a vibe in a new track.. only in a old one and people think that if the old tracks are in old school style so old school is vibey but let me tell you this: when I hear Micro Play aka Crazy Dafna or whatever (which is a nitzhonot track) I feel the vibe the same goes with God Mountain!!

Yeah, i have seen some people who really loved the old-school style making some great tracks but when they tried to release them the result was...not exactly what they expected. The fact is that in every kind of music people feel nostalgic about the older tracks. But as Sex-Tazi said the music changes style and noone will accept an old-school style track. It just doesn't fit. This may upset many [including me] but i have accepted the change and i welcome it. What we need now is MORE releases and of course good ones :)

i'm still down with the old school... even when people are making new tracks with the same sort of idea.

there is a track on the hunab-ku disc with an amazing intro and a great feel... i wish i could remember what its called. you'd know it if you heard it - EPIC in every sense... thats some great new stuff even if some of the other tracks there are rather recycled...
