this is a strange manifesto for more local elements at psy parties.
give more value to the local traditions instead of just importing a model of psytrance party.
No more hindu images, and shiva stuff for deco. No more chai, i am not hindu i want to drink our traditional cofee.
No more artist, tracks or parties using names as "space"/ "alien". give more value to your language, besides of beeing more creative.
if you dont listen to our demands, there will be no other way than the psy-terrorism
Our first psy-terrorism act will be at Universo Paralello fest, since it became so international. the high prices excluded many local people that used to go to parties.
during the night we are going to bomb some deco with hindu references, using a "dirty" fluor ink bomb. next target will be the chai.
help us making psy-terrorist acts in your own country

This could be a good thing to stimulate a little the decadent world of psychedelic trance....
Too many fucked off by drugs wannabe hippies, too many copy paste wannabe artists, too many wannabe labels, too many ancient gothik metalheadz wannabe satanic dark trance too many disco club ibiza going to dance outdoor at house proggy tooooo many bli bli bli toooooooo many bla bla bla 
Some revolutionarism could be healthy for the scene

how about organising your own party the very way you want it to be.. do something constructive..dont screw others' happiness..
stupid acts like violence and terrorism have no place in psytrance scene..

Psychedelic nationalism and psychedelic protectionism? 
The whole shiva and hindu symbolism is of course quite kitsch (and has been for many years), but it doesn't bother me at all to be honest. I also think there are many local influences if you compare different parties around the world; in Scandinavia for instance, there are deco-teams making decorations inspired by the deep scandinavian forests, elfs, local mushrooms etc., and I'm sure the same applies to many other local scenes with creative minds.
As someone else already said: if you want to influence the scene in a certain direction, make your own parties or try to influence the parties in a positive way. it doesnt bother me too, i just think we have many other stuff, symbols, particular myths. no need to make only shiva images just because its a "psy" party.
i totally agree with what you said about scandinavia, i was even going to give it as example.. finland stuff, suomi.. |
