Just a thought.
There are many nice parties here in Japan, but not so many organizers are putting up a chill stage (psy 16 is among the few doing it).

Why is that?

In other countries (i.e. UK) it is almost unthinkable to put togheter a psy party without a proper lounge area, and in many cases the chill out area drags almost more people than the main stage (or anyway attract a considerable amount of people).

Btw,I just would like to hear what are the thoughts of organizers based here in Japan on this topic.

Peace

I may be biased here, being a chill DJ, and a member of Psy16 as well as doing the trance, but yeah, why the hell aren't there more chill stages?

As u mentioned, we do a chill stage, which is kind of becoming a free-style stage. I'd like to know about this, too.

The chill area at Ground Beat was enticing, with the mirror balls set in the forest, asking for exploration, and having a chill area means, for me, a chance to experiment with sets with far more freedom than the main stage.

Is it too expensive to have more DJs going? Is that the mentality? I'll play a 12 hour chill set for you for free if you like. Done it before...

Any offers?           I'm not tired with being right all the time, just with the rest of you being wrong

Should have made them a separate comment. What I meant was that I also wanted to know why chill stages are not so common in Japan.

Any takers for 2 super-chill DJs?           I'm not tired with being right all the time, just with the rest of you being wrong
