right now I'm working for a film, I had to meet the guy who is making the soundtrack, after we talked for a while I found out that he was into trance too... so I told him to use sounds from psytrance music and mix and layer them into the soundtrack...
the movie is a suspense-scary movie
the soundtrack artist thought it was a good idea and is going to try it out! lets see what happens....
a few years ago I was working for a small film project in London, and the sound recordists were total trance heads... and even produce stuff on their own...
I think many sound professionals all over the world end up finding trance, and liking it.

Good luck with ur movie 
more people i know are getting into sound production with the aim to make this psychedelic music.... so yea, i think sound professionals all over the world eventually end up liking psy.... its amongst the most cutting edge of all electronic music, in terms of production, and is forever trying to reinvent itself...
Does the movie ur working on have a name?
