Moonstoned is the most promising Psytrance and Ambient project coming out of Israel these days.
Anyone who is looking for psychedelic yet interesting music will surely enjoy it !!!
Moonstoned is Nimrod Gidony, 30, born in Israel. He is Djing Psytrance an Ambient music since 1999. He played at many parties in India, Costa rica and Israel. In 2001 he started creating his own music which is influenced by artist such as Cosma, X-Dream, Infected mushroom, Hux flux, Dado and the likes.

After speaking with Nimrod I realize he is also influenced by many other artists such as Union jack, Psysex, Sun project, Kraftwerk, Groove armada, Air, Prodigy, Bob marley, Pink floyd, Shpongle, Younger brother and more and more......
BTW, He just uploaded a new track named "VITAL" which is a powerfull morning tune !!!
Dont miss "Tiny taste" and "NO lead" whihc are amazing psychedelic emotional old-school morning music ! |

Soon, Moonstoned is going to upload a new track to his website, from what I have heard so far, it is realy something to wait for !!!
BTW, as much as I listen to "No lead" the more I think it is one of the best morning tracks I heard in a very long time. If you never heard it, you should do it !!!

I totally agree about "No lead", although the version uploaded on their website is an old version, the newer version I listened to is even better !!!
I wonder why they didnt upload the new version? |

"Tiny taste" is my favorite track of Moonstoned, and I also liked "No lead". They still have to work on the sound quality and mix, but these tracks are very good. "Vital" is a semi-fullon morning track which is not bad at all, and the clubby "Beatoven" (I like the name...) is very uplifting and nice on the ears. The Chillout track "Climbing the mountain" is to slow for me, but might be very relaxing before bed time....
Waiting for the new track !

Nimrod has done 99% of the work music-wise. My part in the project is mostly helping around, promoting and motivating him to continue his good work.... I realy believe his project is very interesting and promising, and you are welcome to enjoy the music and comment about it ! |

MoonStoned are going on a promotional tour around Europe.
The tour will start at the solctice celebration party in The Netherlands, 21-22 of June, and will end at the Hanna Hanna Festival in Slovakia on the 24st of August.
There are still some available dates.
