Well, I was not there to be a part of the festival but my frnds who were there said it was insane for 3 days (till it happened). Yup, I am sure there were lot of goofups which should not happen. Hopefully, Kalari and all learns from it so that they can have a better one next year or so.

Its good to hear both sides of the story. Dont diss critics ... Negative feedback helps much more than high fives!
I really hope the hype created by the press doesnt last for long because there so much thats going to happen in India (psywise) in the coming years that a festival is something that we should have a right to once a year.
@ Kalari. I know you hate everyone here on isra but I hope you dont discredit the feedback. Especially the bit that said that too much time was spent promoting this party. I wasnt even in India and I could blatently see that. I had very random and surprising people telling me about this event a month before it happend. Not good!
But I'm sure you figured out what you did wrong already...
I talked to a few people that went to this one. It was far from a perfect festival.... but it could definitly become one. Its in India... that the biggest springboard anyone could ask for. I hope that more people take an active role in organising this event if its happening in '07. And chill on the drugs.... it might make a good party but it doesnt make a good festival. |

I Don't really know what too say bout the scene,,ya i was there,, honestly i don't know all the djs and there names so i can;t tell u who played what and how,, but there were some killa "moments"
If u asked me i had a great time,, me and my girl we were just enjoying every part of it ,, the ride on the bike through the hills, on the way to the party, the jeep of nice people from israel,, ive forgotten there names but they were very sweet, then the dude who asked me to dip and wanted just a half or a quater ,, nice chap,, he did say " SHUKREYA"
all happy , shanti shanti ..
i made friends with so many new people ,, I definately felt like part of a family .. where everyone's judged by the vibe they carry..
love all u who wore a smile for those days....

im sorry butt i feel i need to take a part in this argument (the childish part only on the israely part) so "onacid" - F U if u make parties n prepare the foreign crowd with high expectations so that they will come dont come blaming them for their well unest disapointment, and on top of all that if u do want to make parties and u want foreigners to come dont dis their whole nation. we r not a human decoration for ur local crowd's money. u know unlike u we kill ppl and everything...
