Well, Moon is another critically successful sci-fi flick that we have this year. With mere 5 Million $ budget Duncan Jones, the first time director, definitely manages to pull a very good looking and sounding movie about a lonely Astronaut that spends a 3 year mission on the Moon. Although it looks good the story doesn't manage to pull and the twist here comes to early and without much intensity. Sam Rockwell gives a good and reliable performance as the Astronaut and Kevin Spacey lends the voice of Gerty a Bizarro World version of HAL9000, the robot from Space Odyssey. A movie that lends most of the influence on this picture. I hope to see what future holds for this director as he definitely has a good eye and hopefully a better written scripts come along his way.
Notable mention go to Clint Mansell's excellent music that turns every mediocre scene to "A" class cinema.
7/10

I also stopped it halfway through after getting distracted and haven't felt the urge to come back to it yet. I plan to watch the rest of it soon though because I did think it was interesting so far. |

The film remarkably, very much was pleasant, it would be desirable to look once again. |

The film gave away too much too soon. It started very promising but went to flatline after a while and i lost interest. I was hoping for a better music score as well. A 6 at best imo.
