Damn! I wanna get my hands on one of those (and an original one, as well, if possible)           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb

Should be damn difficult to put the hands on the original, but the VST is not as expensive and space consuming, and also pretty much stable, and user friendly.

That's the secret behind old analog equipment.
Non stability makes it sound fatter.
Notice in todays Virtual analog synths you can find a knob that adds randomness to the sound and adds fatness with it.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

pav, i think he ment that it get crashed alot's
and i'm pretty sure that crashing dont makes the sound go fatter.
i know that all the sounds was sampled by the hardwere moog and includes alogeritems that based on the real moog features.           "move your body! if you don't have one, GET ONE!"

it´s still gonna be far from the originals i guess.
a more adult soft emulation would be creamware´s
minimax check out the samples of it on their page:
www.creamware.com it seems that technology has finally caught up with this classic and even devoted users say that the difference is inaudible.
ofcourse there is the matter of hands on control which another german company has adressed by building a controller with the same design and layout as the original itself, only slightly scaled down. it might not be gotten free off the net, but this is as close as it gets now.
free stuff may be good but it can´t sound like a moog, having said that the softsynth might be a good one on its own.
all hail bob!           Mastering available here:

Well, got my hands on this baby and what can i say?
It sounds great, but too bad that there are no MIDI knob control options, and the UI is very uncomfortable, nothing to compare with Reason here.
But the bass sound is really delicious!

ok as for the demo, very CPU demanding - all those graphics. Preferably not run it as in real time but to bounce some audio files with it. Too bad.

although those wires are nice to play with.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

CPU demending, i agree, but hell! works 100% good, no problems, good quality sound-banks of great people.. what can i say...
and it looks cool 2.. brings u back to the lats 60's-early 70' ...
