Anyone here using this synth ? The reviews online are extremely positive... hoping to get some first hand info on it too.

A fun fact for this forum... the guy behind the firmware for Moog, Amos Gaynes, who is shown in this video, is also a psytrance DJ

Some of DJ Sensoma's sets ...

Own it for about a week, and I think it suits psychedelic sounds really well. With the upcoming update even more so.
Only thing I would like added is multiple destinations for modulators.
Maybe a firmware update will add that in the future.

Had a sub Phatty for 6 months. Most uninspiring synth I ever owned. Just way to generic & Moogy. I should've got the DSI Mopho LE that was going for the same price. Now I think I'll wait to save for the Sequential Circuits Prophet 6. It'll be my one & only keyboard synth.           Cuntus Maximus.

I've been wanting one of these since it was first announced. Know a couple of people who have them (Lee from .txt and Dave from Node), and are very, very happy. Almost bought one but went for a turntable instead. I can see it being the only mono synth you'd ever need. Definitely a real Minimoog replacemnt for the 21st century! (I know the Voyager is that, but this is much more reasonably priced).

I had a Moog modular 904 low pass, best filter I ever had (and have had probably 10-15 different ones over the years). Nothing else does those classic sweeps or Berlin School sequences quite like it!           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

With all the additional inputs etc. give me the DSI Pro 2 over this anytime. With the Prophet 6 for poly.           Cuntus Maximus.

From the demo's I've heard, DSI Pro 2 definitely beats the Sub 37 hands down. But then it's also in a difference price bracket, and then considering that the Prophet 6 will be ridiculously out of range.

Thanks for all the feedback so far. If anyone has had some demos where the modulation has been pushed beyond all the vanilla demos that are out there please do share.

Even though the patches were typical funk ones Moog tries to showcase found this demo to be great, fantastic performer ...

I have the sub phatty and it's a keeper alright, the 37 has even more functions... I still feel like I have only scratched the surface of this synth... it is that deep!
