all of these are small so dont expect great amount of bass the best of this ones are the fostex i think and alesis but chek the behringers as well cheap loud and also good
for my opinion go for 8inch units more suitable for your request (bass)

With all of the monitors u wrote u can reach "a lot of bass" ,It doesnt mean they are better ,For a good mix u need a "honest" sound, Sometimes if you work with to much bass your track would have less bass then it sepose to have cause all the time u thoght theres "a lot of bass".
The M-audio are not bad.. U can try the Edirol Monitors to.
Good luck

You know, there are really only two critical requirements for monitors:
1) They do 20Hz to 20kHz.
2) You listen to a lot of pro or reference material on them.
However you want to meet the above two guidelines is up to you. Everything else is window dressing. Many pros do most of their mixing at low volumes on a single mono Auratone, a regular boombox, or a pair of colored NS-10s. Anything works, as long as you work hard to get used to the sound of your room. |

Another monitor threat
I have the Samson Resolv65a, and i am very happy with them. They are not so expensive, but they sound great, clear and have enough bass (at least for me )

like it has been said before, it is important that the monitors freq. range goes from 20hz to 20khz, or as near to this values as possible. i have bought recently m_audio bx8 and i am very happy with them for now, but one thing is for sure, no matter how good your monitors are, you will need a period of adptation to it, to really understand the difference of the sound your getting to the sound it finally goes out recording. anyway if you are thinkin in spending good money go for mackie monitors for sure. |
