Hi,
I'm new to this forum and I must say: nice posts here! (more professionnal than other trance-sites)
My question is probably already answered somewhere, but I can't find an answer so here goes:
What are monitors? I have my cpu hooked up to my hi-fi and it soudns ok, but I assume that I don't get the right sound out of it... Like I read somewhere: on a party the music will sound different. So what's the difference.
I have a Kenwood KR-A2080 amplifier and Technics CS-50Watt speakers. |

By the way.. my tip
a painter needs to see his picture to paint.. so the most important thing is the lightening and his eyes.. he can't paint in the dark..
So the most important thing for a musican are the monitor speakers and his ears..
same as a painter should never safe money on a lamp.. a musican should never safe money on a monitor speaker..
this is Just the most important factor in your production...
It has the best possible FOR YOU! (it's also matter of taste) but if you found one you love, don't care about the money... wait longer, safe longer, but then buy the right ones.

DjSid - Monitors dont tell the truth, their aim is to monitorise the sound in the sharpest way, with as little interference as possible.
To choose a pair of Studio Monitors, you should take a track considered as a professional production, and search for pair of S.M. which will express the sound in the way YOU like so it will be easy for you to get to those levels of productions.
