Well as far as some of you know when you place monitors near screen some blue shadows appear and slowly burn pixels of the screen.

I curently have 17" CRT but planing to buy 19" LCD one while my monitors will be even closer to it since they should be placed somewhere one meter and above from me creating 60 degrees angle (monitor:ear:monitor).

What are your suggestions in order to keep monitors and screen working without damage each other?

Thanks in advance.           "there once was a lesbian from Cancun

Most pro monitors nowadays arent problematic with screens. I have 2 LCD's very close to my monitors and there is no problem I can report, and there shouldnt be any. There are reasons why studio monitors are damn expensive piece of equipment.

here's one physics parameter... ear:each monitor distance must be almost equal to monitor:monitor distance.

meaning, if you must keep your monitors in such way in order not to have problems with your rest of your equipment, distanced 2 meters from its other, then you have to be 2 meters + 5-10cm further away from each monitor (NOT a perfect triangle)

try this           extreme

google for it... 'magnetic shielding' or 'magnetic shield' should wield some results on how to shield ur monitors, but i think it's almost impossible... U can also shield the display, that has the same result... I don't know how, and i don't know if it's possible to do it with an external device, but i think u have to build some kind of metal cage... That's what the magnetic shielding in my monitor looks like...
