how much did they cost you?
i a know that they are not real good but i dont have enough money to buy something expensive and i can buy those msp5 for about 2000 shekels so i guess i am tempted to buy them because of the price...
about the music - i am into layla, tech-trance more or less...

If my theory serves me right:
if you produce and master trance on monitors with basscutoff (NS10 or others) it will sound trebly, low bass, when played back at a festival or on any large rig (what trance is for, right?).
Essentially its the bass cutoff that 'distorts' the sound from what its supposed to be, so isn't it best to compensate with using more bass than necessary, at least when finally laying off your tune to DAT or CD?

Anyway i think u should get active monitors. Tannoy reveal are Gr8, But I know Yamaha Sucks ass bigtime... , truley, Try Studiophile 8/5-SP, or the behringer B2031... Tjis should do.
Good Luck

at the ns-10 - you will hear the best quality when you playing it with "large" speakes. |
