I use the Fostex PM1 and love them. PM0.5 possibly don't go deep enough (smaller membrane)if you want to produce trance because in this genre you work alot with the low frequencies to get a proper bass/kick-sound. But afaik there is a subwoofer available for the PM0.5s.           www.myspace.com/mentris

I haven't heard how the Fostex PM1 sounds, but it looks tasty by judging the paper. Can more people share their experiences and reviews of the PM1, please?            Aural transmissions from the deep forests of Sweden

Fostex PM1 review by sound on sound:
http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/nov03/articles/fostexpm1.htm

These are a little old now though and i've heard lots of people recommend the samson rubicon 6a over these..The new samsons are more neutral and the low end is better than the fostex pm1           http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic
