I think Event are better than Beringer cos as Yuli said event is 100% didicated to monitors and Beringer is much more generalistic.
If you have money i advice you to buy Genelec (300 wats rms).
But if not, like Yuli said Tannoy reveal active are a nice choice the relation price/quality is very good, and the low freqz response is enought, i mean if you have a 100 wats rms monitor you can't expect a low freq response of a 300 wats rms monitor right?
The Tannoy are used by some Trance artists (that i know personally and had already released lots of trakx) so who said that tannoy are not good for trance is completly wrong, i also have Tannoy and i'm really happy with it.
In the end if you have money buy the best otherwise test them all and choose for your self.

well i saw some makies at the shop
in aust for $3400 - $3600 round about and that's australian currency and we get
$0.56 us dollars to our dollar so double the price...
so for rest of the monitor ranges it is obviously under that price range...

Guys, all this stuff u talk about is near field monitors and are all recomended to work with a subwhoofer unit as well.           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.

Wrong Borris,

These monitors definitely NOT need any sub around. These near field monitors should b listened to in a range of approx. 1.5 meters when the head of the listener is at the height of the monitor and sub is from totally different story, for sure not this one. Maybe from some surround home theatre story.           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

I can agree with that, working with sub is a common mistake.           Don't Let Yourself Get Attached To Anything
