e-motion: i'd suggest to save some more money, 300 euros is relatively less for a pair of monitors!

Anyone had any experience using Adam p11s or Adam p22s?
I've had a listen to them both, but I really want to know how appropriate they are for writing this type of music. How do they compare to the recommended Mackies or Dynaudios?

adam are great monitors! i know a few persons who is VERY happy with P11a, p22 i dont know. i am also soon buying monitors, and i will go for either adam p33a or Event asp6/8, havent decided yet.

check www.soundking.com the monitors they have.
of course they are chinese,of course you get what u pay for,but i know many ppl are very happy with em!
here in greece the 6" one you ll get it for 300 and the 8" for 360 euros(less if u pay in cash)

my advice: keep saving your money and keep sound designing and programming then when you have saved enuff uy the dynaudiobm6a...
those bitches rock nice and the imaging is untouched i would like more bass with em but i guess theres always the option to upgrade the system with the subwoofer which im planning to get...
either the dynaaudio sub or the mackie... any one knows which is better???? maybe start the subwoofer post. well just my 2 cents ps if u can't wait go ahead and buy the new maudio's they're quite good considering they're price.. i had em before my dyna's and were decent better than beringher |

is important what music style do you want to produce (ambient or trance) to choose what monitor do you have to buy?
personaly i produce only ambient/dub music so i think is very useful this!

Hey bro .. Im from Brazil too and i know how hard s for us to buy some good monitors for a GOOD PRICE lol
anyway... 3 months ago i just bought a pair of monitors VERY VERY good for my needings in MERCADO LIVRE...maybe u still can find it there...
it s from BEHRINGER TRUTH B2031A .... its not TOP but trust me..it does the work.. its just lackin the VERY HIGH END..
i have bought it for 1200 bucks from our money currency but 3 months ago the dollar was still cheape for us (1,70 ) now that it s expensiver i have no ideia....but give it a check .. mercado livre...some folks from FLORIPA and CURITIBA.
