Sorry about doubleposting (I already posted one in the m.o.a.studiomon) but i really need to decide quickly so please bear with me....
here goes:
Choosing between:
Alesis Prolinear 820 DSP (Much bang for bux, big woofer)
Dynaudio BM5A Powered Studio Monitor (why is the passive version more expensive?)
Dynaudio BM6A MK II Active (Is the price difference between this and BM5a worth the extra woofer and amp size?)
Adam A7
Wich should I go for??
I want an allround, clean monitor for producing all kinds of music, but mainly electronic.
thx in advance

the bm6a are more capable than all the others you've mentioned. So if your wallet allows it, go for them.

all i can say that i am pretty happy with the adam a7's. half price of the bm6a's.
right now i am working on them. before i was working on adam s1a and they are a bit better then the a7's in the bass-area but i dont hear a very big difference that justifies for me the double price. so an option is also a7's with the adam baby subwoofer. must be around 1300 euro. budget choice. |
