There was a comment made by some one in a previous topic thats its impossible to make a living out of psy trance unless ur an over booked artist.... I just wanted to know what all the not-so-famous dj's/producers from this forum do for a living ??? |

I think people like Eat Static and Orbital live off their music - Eat Static because they are a huge institution with fanclubs and lots diverse fan-constalations (big words... ), and their own label. Orbital has done a couple of soundtracks, which should pay pretty well too.
Simon Posford was/is a teacher at some local-school. Most of the time, i think, artists have regular daytime jobs...

meny djs works in seconed job and there hoby is to play
in parties and creat music,but alot of djs(like skazi,alien project and more)are makeing alot of money from there music,its there profeshion like the doctors or teachrs!!! |

Hi Colin... Not at all sure - but I saw a picture once, that was labelled "Simon at the [something-or-other] job" and it was a school. Admitted, it was a dodgy website, that just as easily could be lying. What does your source tell? It would be interesting to know
