Well... after 2 previous editions of this concept and the amazing indigo festival i had really high expectations from this party but even without high expectations this party was a little bit of a dissapointment - dont get me wrong i had great moments in this party and overall i did have fun - but i got a general feeling about this party that it was poorly organized and not as invested as what we have come to expect from moksha - there were WAY too many fuckups with the sound (so many breaks during the sets... some of them took 10 or more minutes to fix which is a very long time for someone whos digging their ass off ), and the worst part was when it was raining mad and you had 2 options - either dance your ass off or hide in the tent (and i always prefer the first option) - well... there was just no music to dig to whatsoever and everybody knew it was gonna rain so the production should have been prepared for the rain. more than that i really felt that the party was divided to two seperate happenings - the mainstage and the camping area which were divided by an entrance with the guards (very stupid in my opinion... every time you wana go and dance you have to wait in line? or wait in line to go back to your tent? what the fuck?!) which pretty much affected the whole vibe of this party - also there was hardly any deco at all allover the area (both camping and mainstage) not to talk about food or anything of that sort.

the good things i can mention are the wonderful people who came to greet the new year and did the best to keep some sort of vibe going on in the mainstage altho like i previously said it was strange for me and not what im used to from any of moksha's parties ive been to the past 2 years, quirk , mwnn and mark allen's set and ross cross that surprised me - other than that the music was pretty boring an way too housy/electroish or whatever you wanna call it.

ive never said this on this forum before but i feel kind of ripped off for what i paid to or atleast what i expected to recieve from this party... it felt way too amateur from a production the size of moksha...

anyway shana tova to everyone may this year be joyful and full of blessing to all of our scene!

I agree that the sound and electricity problems sucked a lot, but I wouldn't call the whole party a dissapointment. Yes standing in the rain, waiting to get into the party area was a bummer but lucky for us and the 10 people around us, we had our sun umbrella and we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes and it happen only once. I think the decision to make the camping area outside the party was uber wize, as it solved any entrance problems from last parties. The production only had to put 2 signs: "Entrance" & "Exit" to further smooth the process. What did annoy me, was the fact that once you went out any of the other gates, you could only get in from the main one. Can someone explain what was the reason for this? The area was pretty big and it was annoying to go all the way around every time.
Another thing, is calling a long party a festival. The production was much smaller than what a festival should be but otherwise we enjoyed a lot. Quirk gave an awesome set, including some golden oldies. Also Sub 6 rocked with some fast pace psychedelia. Can somebody please post the full line up?
Thanks Moksha for a great holiday and Shana Tova to everyone.

not saying that the party was a dissapointment, im saying im dissapointed with the production as ive come to expect much higher standards from them
ive had no problems with the rain - on the contrary i really enjoyed it except for the fact that it caused (?) the sound to die way too many times and thats something that the production should have been prepared for as everybody was well aware that it was gonna rain...

there are also 2 more things i forgot to mention - first of all suntree vs. ritmo which gave a great driving proggy set which perfectly fit into the timeframe and the mood of the party - i really enjoyed this set until the soundsystem died (again!)

the other thing was the amount of garbage at the dancefloor - why not put a garbage bin at the corners or center of the stage? its not the first time its been mentioned here and not something moksha hasnt addressed in many previous parties... this just added to the fact that to me atleast it felt like a sloppily organised party and by no means was this close to a festival (unlike the previous editions).

there were WAY too many fuckups with the sound (so many breaks during the sets... some of them took 10 or more minutes to fix which is a very long time for someone whos digging their ass off

hey now... im not going down dirty on anyone... im simply saying what i thought and felt and in no way doing it in a hurtful manner... its simply critisicism and its there for you to read and of course reply when needed.

im not taking off anything of the work that was put into this party, but i do think moksha are a few levels above what this party looked like (in an organizational point of view - what ive become accustomed to from moksha parties) - and regarding the rain - im still standing behind my words - it just felt like it the production didnt prepare for that possibility, nothing is worth risking a life for and if it was shut down because of an electricution hazard then so be it.

but please i have one request, try to read and accept or atleast debate on criticism from time to time - it will only make things better for the next times.

shana tova to everyone!

was fun +/-. i don't like big events, but i like quirk and mwnn. the music at night was not my thing at all, thank god the morning came. vibes were at times great and at times a bit harsh. the rain was a fun twist.

Some troubles with sound of course not helping...

But, we are totally enjoyed whole party atmosphere, and those who really cares just using this time to make some new friends, visiting restroom or drink some water already

And let me said something about the rain - it was boring, breaking the mood a little, but finally a lot of fun, isn't it?

Shana Tova and Peace for everyone!

well..
when i critisize somthing or somone i base
my words on facts/taste/expiriance..

u made critisizem on technical problems..
and did not botherd to find out the source of the problem (wich im sure u know
cen be more then 1 reason for it..)
so,u blamed the sound sistem crew and moksha team for the sound foults ofcorse..

take notice that i dident referd to the rest of the critisisem..
wich was based on taste/expiriance..

next time just come and ask..
and u will get stright and honest
answer.. (that if u really respect yourself
and intend to write true critisezem on a
public forum).
cheers.

what aspect you looking , it was a groovvee fest...
the music, the vibs, the heavy rain , that IMO did the vibs more powerfull and more like a WOoDstuCK spirit with mud everywhere and ppl smailing..

my highlikghts were: Man with no name !!! the vibefull Quirk set , and Sub6 massive moring vibs..

about the camping area it was sure a bizarre thing , unconvinient and more, but ppl made it will nice and happy with a lot of beverage and fun

keep up moksha, it was a really happy rosh ha shana!
happy new jewish year
